AccuRate® introduces new "L" Series MECHATRON® minor ingredient feeder
WHITEWATER, WI - AccuRate® has announced the newest addition to the MECHATRON® feeder line originally introduced at the Powder show last year. The new "L" Series Coni-Flex™ MECHATRON® feeder is smaller in size but feature rich. Gary Kuehneman, Director of Marketing and Business Development said, "We asked our customers to specify a model perfect for the minor ingredient side of compounding lines. The new "L" Series MECHATRON® is the result."
Other key features include:
- Support for feed rates from 0.1 to 23 ft3 per hour.
- Conical cornerless flexible walled (Coni-Flex™) or stainless steel (Coni-Steel™) feed hoppers (patent pending).
- The ability to disassemble, clean, reconfigure or service the feed screw, motor(s) and the internal feed hopper from the non-process side (patent pending).
- Floor or hanging mount configurations.
- Totally integrated and pre-wired ("Mechatronic") volumetric and DISOCONT® gravimetric control packages. Profibus, DeviceNet or Modbus fieldbus communications are optionally available.
