"POSI-FLOW" ADAPTIVE AGITATION:

When the bag is full of material, dual-pivot paddles push against the bottom of the bag to break material bridged over the outlet as well as agitate the sides of the bag near the spout, stimulating material movement.

As the bag empties, the air cylinders push the paddles further toward the center of the bag until proximity sensors on the air cylinders determine that the bag is near empty. The proximity sensors hold the air cylinders in the extended position to empty the bag corners while continuing to pulse the bottom of the bag. This facilitates a smooth flow of material from the bag, eliminating waste and improving process efficiency. The entire bag, including corners and spout are emptied. There are several preprogrammed agitation control setting that do not require an operator to set up timers and switches.

BAG TENSIONING OPTIONS

Three air springs, plumbed together, lift the platform uniformly, without binding as with independent springs with nested tubes.

Adjustability in lifting force is provided with air spring pressure and PLC programming.

Easy to load and unload shelf style design provides fast bag turnover with forgiving slide in, slide out changes.

PLC CONTROL

Control: PLC with remote start capabilities and 4 agitation speed settings
Inputs and outputs are available for easy and flexible plant integration.

MOBILE APPLICATIONS

A single gravimetric bulk bag discharge system which can feed into a multiple inlet process. The single bulk bag discharge system was built on heavy duty casters which would fit into a track system on the floor above the feeders. The frame was equipped with load cells providing the customer with a simple method to track material inventory levels.

BAGFILL APPLICATIONS

Custom designed systems consisting of bulk bag frames, integral automatic refill hoppers, dust containment bag clamping components, inflatable pneumatic clamping device, quick disconnect components and batch controller with formula storage capabilities. Benefits include improved batch accuracies, easier bag disposal and reduced operator involvement.

SANITARY APPLICATIONS

Designed to meter food ingredients gravimetrically from a bulk bag discharge point unto integral gravimetric refill hopper with a conical design, complete with smooth internal welds. The material then flows through an integrated refill slide gate/valve into a sanitary Loss-In-Weight feeder which rests on a washdown scale.
